Well, ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers have to admit it’s been a good run for Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) as one of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)’s people, but it could be coming to an end.
We haven’t been given a lot to work with when it comes to Dex’s past except what he’s told Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) about leaving home and his military service.
But that’s going to come to an end now that Brick (Stephen A. Smith) is on the case of digging into his past.
This just leaves the question, what took him so (bleep)ing long?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Come on, man!
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers can’t believe Brick dropped the ball on Dex this badly, especially since he took pride in “vetting” the people at Sonny’s island, yet somehow he did.
Granted, this is either a story point that was intended to come out now as an excuse to keep Dex around, or the writers just flubbed it. At this point, we’re ready to accept a little of column A and a little of column B.
When Sonny’s business with Pikeman first started and he accepted the first shipment, Brick told Dex only to trust Sonny and no one else, not even him.
This made us think that he dug into Dex’s past like he was supposed to and learned he was a soldier of fortune with morales, which should’ve raised a red flag.
We even thought he may have been setting Dex up as a test, but instead there was no test and Dex got the recording of the exchange that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) later destroyed.
That’s failure one and two on Brick, but wait, there’s more!
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Now he digs in
After taking credit for personally vetting the men on Sonny’s island to protect him, he’s now going to dig into Dex’s past to discover any secrets he’s hiding.
Now. After how long as one of Sonny’s most trusted people? Seriously? Pass the ibuprofen, please.
We’re curious what Brick will find, and it could be anything from Dex’s soldier of fortune days, his family history, a possible link to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), or even that he’s been receiving hefty pay from someone.
Since we assume he and Michael are smart enough to cover those tracks to a point, it’ll mean Brick will have to do his job and it’ll raise questions on who is paying Dex and he’ll look guilty as sin.
We expect this is when the truth that he’s working for Chad will come out, with some persuasion we might add.
