Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made a video of Meghan hugging veterans to draw attention to their Archewell Foundation hours after Kate Middleton’s video with her children, Charlotte, George, and Louis, at a baby bank.
Harry and Meghan’s Video Comes After Kate’s Video
The Duke and Duchess made royal experts and working royals suspicious that the video came only a few hours after Kate made a video of Charlotte helping her mother at the Windsor baby bank with her brothers.
The Baby Bank provides to new mothers who cannot afford the necessary purchases to give to their children. Harry and Meghan’s video surfaced after the sweet video footage of the Wales children was released.
The Archewell Foundation is a charity the Duke and Duchess set up when they left the royal family. The charity encompasses several projects and partnerships with other foundations and charities to “fuel systematic cultural change.”
Of course, Archewell is also involved in the Sussex’s lucrative deal with Netflix.
The purpose of the Sussexes video was likely to show what good people they are, hugging veterans and packing bags for school children in Nigeria.
The video was also conveniently released after royal experts had discussed Harry and Meghan’s fall from grace and how it would affect them moving forward.
The Sussexes are all about photo opportunities, and they took several selfies with supporters. The video looks like a PR ploy to deflect attention away from the fallout of Omid Scobie’s “Endgame.”
King Charles and Kate Middleton’s names have been slandered due to the book. Harry and Meghan are, of course, not saying a word.
The King and the Princess of Wales were named the “royal racists,” who allegedly commented on the color of Archie’s skin when Meghan was pregnant with her first child.
The royal racist row has significantly backfired for Harry and Meghan, not to mention their already substantially damaged brand.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Used the Video as a Manipulative Tactic
The video is undoubtedly a tactic Prince Harry and Meghan Markle took to solidify them as “global players,” nudging Kate from the spotlight and taking her place.
The video also contains footage from the Duchess’s stop at the Fisher House Foundation in Los Angeles, their attendance at a mental health summit, and Marcy Lab Scholl in Brooklyn.
There was also footage of Harry and Meghan participating in a World Mental Health Day panel. It included their first in-person visit to the Archewell Foundation.
The Sussexes made a glitzy film showing everyone how helpful they are. In Kate’s authentic video, Charlotte and George carry Christmas bags with goodies for the baby bank.
Louis liked a giant King Kong toy and picked it out, excitedly saying, “This is a big guy.” George and Charlotte were creating special notes for the gift bags.
Moving forward, Harry and Meghan can embrace a more positive attitude instead of trashing the royal family that gave them so much privilege and notoriety.
One thing is for sure. Harry and Meghan cannot stay where they are or risk the demise of “Brand Sussex.”
