Omid Scobie’s book, “Endgame” has caused a lot of backlash from royal fans. Scobie claims that Kate Middleton was “cold” to Meghan Markle and “wasn’t interested in developing a “meaningful relationship with her sister-in-law, Meghan.”
He also said that Meghan received a “lukewarm reception from formal William and Kate” when she became more serious with Prince Harry.
Meghan Markle Felt She Was Better Than Kate
According to sources close to the royal family, Meghan felt she was better than Kate because she had her own career, whereas Kate did not. Meghan Markle sees herself as a philanthropist.
The Duchess thought she was going to school the royal family about charity and humanitarian work. However, the royals already have those bases covered.
Meghan also “felt she had more right to speak” than the Princess of Wales. Markle believed she was a ”self-made” woman and would do a better job.
A great example was during the Royal Foundation Forum in February 2018. At the event, someone asked Harry, Meghan, William, and Kate whether they had ever disagreed.
William and Harry admitted they often had a difference of opinion. Meghan’s reaction to Kate’s speech at the event was obviously triggered by jealousy.
Meghan appeared to look away and play with her hair as Kate spoke about the various charities in which she and William participated.
When it was time for Meghan Markle to speak, she essentially embarrassed Kate by dominating the conversation. She deployed an issue that was not even part of the docket. It was women’s empowerment.
Meghan went off-topic to promote her brand. She was championing a cause that was revered by Hollywood, which she knew would make headlines, pushing Kate’s cause to the side.
Meghan’s Long-Winded Speech About Women’s Empowerment
“What’s interesting is I hear many people saying about girl’s empowerment, ‘finding or knowing their worth,”
Meghan exclaimed
“Or women’s empowerment as well, you’ll often hear people say ‘you’re helping them find their voices,’ and I fundamentally disagree with that because women don’t need to find a voice, She continued.“ They have a voice, need to be empowered to use it, and people need to be encouraged to listen.”
Harry looked at Meghan as if she was the most wonderful person in the world. However, William and Kate seemed agitated. It was noticeable they tried to keep their composure as Meghan rambled on and stole the spotlight.
The “fab four,” as the press called them, didn’t appear on stage together again.
Harry wrote in his book, “Spare,” that when he first introduced Meghan to William, Kate stayed in the garden, and it didn’t exactly seem like she was interested in meeting her.
Omid Scobie’s book is very Pro Sussex. He repeatedly takes shots at Kate and paints Meghan as the victim, which is why so many people suspect that Scobie is Meghan’s mouthpiece.
The book could have serious repercussions for Harry and Meghan, as William is said to want to take action after his wife, Kate, was named as one of the alleged “royal racists.”
The Sussexes could very well be stripped of their royal titles. Harry and Meghan’s “Endgame” is vastly approaching.
