‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers had a not so fun surprise today when TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) learned from his and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos)’s surrogate lost their baby.
This is a curious move as it could go a couple of ways, and one is dangerously close to lazy writing as man fans have been pointing out this is only being done so Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) can become the surrogate.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Making it up to the fans
Okay, if this is being done simply to make Kristina the surrogate after all the over the top theatrics from Molly, then it feels like a sloppy, lazy way for the writers to correct what shouldn’t have been such a big deal.
Sure, there will be the argument that the sister had to work through everything, but they didn’t. One day Molly was acting like a raving psycho and the next she wasn’t and everything was sunshine and rainbows between them.
It’s for that reason ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers think this is the most likely reason for it, and we’re hoping we’re wrong and there’s something more to come.
Let’s get into that possibility.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Running a scam
There’s another fan theory that sounds like it’d be a great idea to us, and it’s that Andrea (Lily Anne Harrison) is running a scam for the money.
The thought is she didn’t go to General Hospital, but another one to get checked out and was told she miscarried. And since she can’t face Molly and doesn’t want to try again has us wondering if there’s something to that theory.
It would be a pretty cool twist and since babies being stolen or switched seems to be the current trend on soaps the last few years, why not?
It’d add some spice to things when Kristina, who we think will be the surrogate, is pregnant when they find out and TJ and Molly will have to deal with having two babies coming on top of trying to get back their money.
It also makes sense for Andrea in a way since she’s been a surrogate a few times before and we’re pretty sure she said she has her own kids. Maybe they want a sibling and this is her way to give them one?
It’s going to be interesting to see which direction the show runs with this.
