‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers suggests that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) may be making a colossal mistake by going into business with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
She may really come to regret this, as Sharon Newman Rosales (Sharon Case) might be doing right now. Is it ever a good idea to go into business with Nick?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Run, Don’t Walk
Sally Spectra may need to run away from all things Newman. After all, she started a design business with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) single-handedly tanked it. As he did that, he offered Sally a job she couldn’t turn down, starting a design division at Newman Enterprises.
When she came to say “yes” to his offer, he said, “Just kidding.” He told her that he no longer plans to open that division of Newman and he takes back his offer. Chloe has answered the call to go work at Marchetti for Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Sally is left without any options.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) invites her to work with him, but she can see the bad written all over that. She knows that working with Adam is the last thing that she should do, so she turns him down. But what is left? She is out of options and so she turns to Nick.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Is This Good?
Sally decides that it is time. She is going to ask Nick to invest in her company after all. He offered in the past, and she turned him down. Sally didn’t want to be dependent on him and didn’t want business to influence their relationship. Now she decides she does need him to invest, because she doesn’t have any other options.
Adam tries to discourage her, pointing out that he thinks that Nick is a lot like their father. While Adam is much more like Victor than Nick appears to be, it is pretty clear that being involved with any Newman personally or professionally is going to bring drama galore.
Is Sally good with that? Is she ready to face the fact that this could blow up in her face?
What do you think? Should Sally pursue this with Nick or drop it? Should she look for something different instead?
