‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveals that Selina Wu (Lydia Look) is furious. Her arrangement for running her gambling operation at the Savoy is being threatened. What steps will she take to keep her money flowing in?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Dangerous Enemy
Selina Wu is a dangerous character. She is involved in the Triad for the crime family Wu. She has been involved in blackmail, extortion, and even murder. Selina is not a person that you want to mess around with. She has power in Port Charles and is not afraid to use it to get what she wants.
Selina had an arrangement with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). She gets to use the back room at the Savoy for her off-the-books poker games. In exchange, she was able to secure his father’s sealed medical records. Later, she also has the paternity results that indicate that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is his daughter.
While Selina has provided Curtis with some information that is difficult to get, he isn’t getting a long-term benefit out of this relationship. Several times he has wanted out of this “partnership”.
However, he hasn’t been able to get the help he needs to make that happen. Selina keeps hanging on and is always coming up with something so that she can keep her operation at the Savoy.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Volatile Situation
Now things are more volatile. Curtis was shot by a ricochet bullet at the Metro Court pool. It lodged in his spine and doctors had to operate. Due to the situation, Curtis is unable to walk. He is working on building his upper body strength in rehab, but who knows when he will be “back on the job”.
His father, Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) will be handling the business. He is ready to kick Selina to the curb and tells her as much. The gambling days at the back of the Savoy are over. She lets him know that it would be a very unwise decision to kick her out.
