‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveals that Nikki Newman (Melody Scott Thomas) is still very wary when it comes to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). She tries to discover his true intentions and gives him a fair warning. She is not someone that he wants to mess with, particularly when it comes to her daughter, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).

Everyone knows that Y&R’s Nate Hastings is driven and ambitious. He wants to make it to the top and he’ll do whatever it takes to get there. After leaving medicine, he earned the ire of his cousins Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) by betraying them.
Nate was going to give inside information to Victoria Newman about Chancellor-Winters. When his cousins found out, he was given the boot. Victoria then offered him the CEO position at Newman Media.
While he was CEO, he started being attracted to Victoria. She was also attracted to him, and they started a relationship. When Nate’s girlfriend Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) discovered his infidelity, she moved out and is trying to move on.

Nate has not made his ambitions a secret. He wants to rule Newman Enterprises with Victoria by his side. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) doesn’t trust Nate. Nick believes Nate will hurt Victoria, especially after witnessing Nate betray his cousins and Elena. Then, Victoria removed Nick from his position at Newman Enterprises and gave it to Nate.
Victor has warned Nate about his ambition and has told him that family is most important to him. Even though Victor says this, he did not block Victoria’s move to remove Nick. This makes Nate see that if he keeps Victoria happy and satisfied, there is no reason he can’t have it all.
Nikki Newman also weighs in and tries to get a read on Nate. He admits to her that he is not in love with Victoria…yet. He also admits that he wants to make it to the top. Nikki warns him that if he is kind to Victoria and treats her well, then Nikki will be in his corner. If he hurts Victoria, Nikki promises to be Nate’s worst nightmare.
