‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers divulges that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will do whatever it takes to get his way.

Victor wants to buy Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) company, McCall Unlimited. He wants to get the company so that he can turn it over to his son Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to run.
That is his desire. He has wanted to get Adam back at Newman Enterprises, but Adam won’t return unless he is given Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) job. Victor has no interest in pitting his children against each other.
He wants to have something that will involve and interest Adam but keep his kids in a good place. For that reason, he wants McCall.
His plans for McCall were disrupted when Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) bought Tucker’s debt. She told him that he could not sell to Newman as he planned.
He has to sell his company to his son, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). Tucker has approached Devon about it and Devon is becoming more interested in the proposition.
Devon is worried about losing his lawsuit against Chancellor-Winters to secure his part of the company. He thinks that buying Tucker’s company can be a good insurance policy for him.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Underhanded Plan
Victor has tried to dissuade Devon as has Victoria. They both have not been successful. In fact, since they are circling like sharks looking for a kill, Devon realizes that there must be a good reason for him to buy the company.
Their approach has only made him more interested. Victor realizes he has to try something else.
Victor approaches Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) and tries to interest her in a “private investor” who would basically pay her to let Devon have his company.
He doesn’t admit his real reasons for this, but he says that he wants this for the good of Devon. He has shallow reasons and explanations which are really all about Victor Newman getting what he wants and nothing about Devon or Jill.
Jill is being offered a financial incentive to break the merger that they worked so hard to solidify and which she and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) are fighting for.
What do you think? Will Jill take the bait? Or will she realize that Victor is only out for something for himself? Will she decide this is a good financial move for her? And how will this make Lily feel?
