CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers indicates that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) is going to take a big risk. He had cut off all connections with his father Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). He discovered that McCall was using Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) to spy on his company, Chancellor Winters. Because of that, he is not interested in connecting with McCall.

Ashley bought all of Tucker’s massive debt. She now controls everything. His debt is so substantial, that he really lacks the power to do anything. She calls the shots. She tells him that he may not sell the company to Newman Enterprises as he hoped, but he needs to offer it to Devon.
He tells her of their relationship problems and that Devon won’t speak to him. She says failure is not an option, and that he has to make this happen. There is no other option. When McCall tried to call Devon, Devon hangs up on him. He won’t entertain any type of conversation with Tucker, but Ashley says this must happen.

Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) listens to her mother, Ashley, talk about McCall. Abby doesn’t trust McCall and she doesn’t know all that her mother is up to, but she sees that her mother has some kind of plan. She recognizes that her mother has some kind of hope for McCall. She tells Devon that she thinks that he should at least listen to McCall to see what he has to say.
She is not telling him to trust McCall or build a relationship with him, but she thinks that he should at least see what McCall is going to say. Devon values Abby’s opinion and rethinks the matter, planning to allow McCall a thirty-minute meeting.
How will this meeting go? Will this offer of the McCall financial empire change Devon’s plan to try to get Hamilton-Winters back from Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Jill Abbott (Jess Walton)? Will he drop his plans to sue and will this bring about peace between him and Lily? Or will this cause new unanticipated problems? Will Tucker do this Ashley’s way, or will he try to outmaneuver her?
