On Wednesday, 22nd March 2023, Prince William unexpectedly joined customers at a gay restaurant in Warsaw, Poland, surprising them with his presence.

Customers at Buetero Bistro were surprised to witness the future king of England enjoying a meal that was priced under $10. This was a surprising thing to say the least.
A nearby resident took secret photographs during William’s visit, which captured him sitting with his team in a local restaurant. The Prince of Wales wore a buttoned shirt as people placed their orders.
According to a source who spoke with the Daily Mail, Kensington Palace’s team reserved the eatery in the vicinity of their work, and Prince William spontaneously joined them.
A source said: “He asked them what they were doing and then asked to come along. It was a great night by all accounts. The team really appreciated him asking to join them.”
The owner of the restaurant, Pawel Zasim, was surprised like his customers to witness the presence of a member of the royal family.
According to a British newspaper, Pawel had no prior knowledge of the visit of Prince William to his restaurant. The table was reserved for a birthday celebration of a woman called Daisy and her 11 companions.
As per the restaurateur, the Prince of Wales consumed a sandwich that was made up of braided roll and pulled pork during the three-hour meal.
William’s visit to a restaurant that caters to the LGBTQIA+ community was seen as a positive step towards showing support for the marginalized community in Poland.
The 2022 ILGA-Europe report highlights the poor state of gay rights in Poland, which is one of the worst among nations in the European Union. Additionally, same-sex unions are not legally recognized in the country.
In order to demonstrate Britain’s backing for Poland, which has been assisting refugees affected by the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, the prince paid an unanticipated visit.
During his visit, he had the opportunity to meet with Polish and British soldiers near the border of Poland and Ukraine, where he commended their partnership in supporting Ukrainian people.
