Princess Eugenie expressed her honor in being part of Kate Middleton’s carol concert to commemorate the late Queen Elizabeth II’s life.
Princess Eugenie Honoured To Celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s Life During Kate Middleton’s Carol Concert
On Christmas Eve, the 32-year-old, Eugenie, attended a gathering at Westminster Abbey hosted by the Princess of Wales. Eugenie shared numerous pictures of herself and her spouse Jack Brooksbank on her social media page, with a post about the event.
Eugenie was wearing a stylish checked coat to the service and conversed with the servicemen and servicewomen present. Additionally, she was observed talking to a young attendee.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “It was an honour to celebrate HM’s life at the Princess of Wales carol concert, Together at Christmas.” Much in the same way, Eugenie featured in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Netflix documentary.
The initial episode showed the royal celebrating with the couple the evening before the world was made aware of their relationship in 2017. It is said that Eugenie was one of the first to become familiar with Harry’s link to Meghan because of their common acquaintance Misha Nonoo.
With that being said, Eugenie is unique in that she is staying in the firm, as well as having ties with the Sussexes. Royal expert Katie Nicholl had this to say: “Eugenie along with her mother has been able to have a foot in each camp and I think unlike the palace staff who had to put their stake in one team or another, Eugenie has managed to tow that line.”
The response on social media towards Eugenie was mixed. A certain subset of people made it clear that Eugenie’s loyalties were being tested in maintaining a balance between the Sussexes and those in the firm.
One person wrote: “Is this reaffirmation she is Team William after the Netflix appearances. She’s on dodgy grounds because of the association.” So there you have it folks. What did you think about this?
