Prince Harry has unleashed another fierce assault on Queen Consort Camilla, referring to her as “dangerous” and a “villain.”
Prince Harry Brands Adulterous Queen Consort Camilla A Villain-‘Bodies Left In The Street Because Of That’
During an interview with CBS News’ 60 Minutes host Anderson Cooper, the Duke of Sussex recalled how his mother, Princess Diana, had referred to Camilla as the ‘third person in her marriage.’ Harry shares in his book that he and Prince William pleaded with their father to not wed Camilla.
He claims she was swapping information with the press in an effort to get more favourable coverage of herself. In his comments, he said: “[Her need to rehabilitate her image] made her dangerous because of the connections that she that she was forging within the British press.
“And there was open willingness on both sides to trade of information. And with a family built on hierarchy, and with her, on the way to being Queen Consort, there was gonna be people or bodies left in the street because of that.”
In 1995, Princess Diana gave an interview to the BBC’s Martin Bashir, in which she spoke openly for the first time about allegations that Charles and Camilla had a romantic relationship while she was married to the then Prince of Wales.
And this is something that had irked William so much to the point where he demanded that it should not be aired again. So the fact that Harry addressed this point is bound to touch a few nerves with those in the firm.
The response on social media was one of shock. Large numbers of people made it clear that Harry had burnt all his bridges with the Royal Family. Therefore, it was very unlikely that there would be a reconciliation. One person wrote: “It’s done. There’s no way back. Very sad to watch. This is really unbelievable.”
It is fair to say that Harry is not holding anything back. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below. If you liked reading this article, then check out our other features on the Daily Soap Dish.
