Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes are at a standstill with ABC, and they will enter what looks to be a heated mediation session with ABC on Thursday. According to reports, ABC has made it known to the anchors’ representatives that they do not want the two of them back on the same set.

ABC reportedly hasn’t decided if they want one or both of them completely gone. According to our sources, after the network made it plain that it doesn’t want Amy and T.J. to collaborate, the couple’s lawyers requested mediation, and ABC agreed.

According to additional reports, Amy and T.J. will present a united face during the mediation. Although Amy seems to be more of a problem in ABC’s eyes than T.J., we are told that T.J. will not be treated any less kindly than Amy. Additionally, it is said that their attorneys, Andrew Brettler, who represents Amy, and Eric George, who represents T.J., have been collaborating closely. If T.J. is penalized or fired, it is claimed that race “will become an issue”—especially if the sanction has no prior history with white employees in T.J.’s situation.

Amy and T.J. will participate in the mediation via Zoom along with their attorneys. Although the mediators’ recommendations won’t be legally binding, a resolution or agreement may be reached. We understand that dating in the workplace is not always a good thing, it feels like they have been responsible about it, and I don’t see how race would play into this situation at all… If this turns into a race issue, they will be completely missing the point.

We’ll see what happens with the mediation and how ABC will move forward.

What do you think? Is it a big deal that they have been seeing each other and why would race matter? Let us know in the comments below.
