Back in the day, Tana Mongeau and Trevi Moran used to be really big friends, but as big a friends as they were, they also had a huge falling out a couple of years ago due to Trevi’s problems with addiction.
Trevi said that for a year, she talked about her in therapy and saying that she had lost her favorite person, almost like Tana had died. Tana said that she felt really bad about that because if Trevi had needed anything and reached out she says she would have been there, but somehow we’re not so sure on that front.
Tana Mongeau discusses her fallout with Trevi Moran
Tana has never been the most consistent person, so we do wonder if she would have actually followed through on anything that she told Trevi during this heart to heart. We know that she completely forgot real life bestie Imari when she had previously offered to be there for him during the filming of her reality show.
However, that was during the filming of Tana Turns 21 which she has said was a really bad time for her, emotionally, so maybe she’s different when not filming for a reality show.
She did say that the reason she disappeared from Trevi’s life is because she felt like, with Trevi trying to turn over a new leaf in her life and be sober and with Tana not being sober she felt like she was harming her and being an enabler when that was not what Trevi needed.
It seems that as far as the addiction wagon goes, Trevi has gotten that part of their life under control and is in recovery and for the most part doing well, however, we do have to kind of respect Tana for staying away when she knew that her lifestyle wasn’t the thing that her friend needed.
Trevi has not only been dealing with addiction problems, but has also been dealing with transitioning, which, even for the people who have the best support system can be trying. Especially in Trevi’s case because they said that both the addiction and the transition was “fighting for them” and that transitioning also comes with hormonal mood swings so that made things difficult too.
Tana says that she would handle things differently now because she has the resources to be able to handle it (It’s really good to hear her say that), but back in the day she didn’t have them, let’s face it, no matter how fast a pace she has lived her life, at the time when this was happened she was 20-21 years old and almost no one has the resources to deal with these kinds of issues at that age – some adults that are decades older don’t have the resources to deal with this kind of thing. It was an eye-opening look at Tana and Trevi’s friendship, we wish them the best going forward. Stay tuned!
