    NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Chad’s struggling, Steve wants to take action, and Shawn plays the waiting game

    NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) has a lot of work to do to move forward, and so does his son. Meanwhile, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) gets a request which we’re sure will be nothing but trouble. Plus, Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) is playing the waiting game. Here’s what you need to know.

    NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: The struggle is real

    First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal Chad and Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) struggle with Abigail Deveraux’s (Marci Miller) death. We’re sure Chad will be especially hurting after the news of Jake Lambert’s (Brandon Barash) demise, as he was friendly with Abigail, unlike Chad.

    Although we did sense a shift in their relationship after Jake’s visit and the things he said about Abigail. We’re guessing there might also be a little more “coulda, shoulda” going on, as he second-guesses the feuding with his brother.

    Meanwhile, it seems Orpheus (George DelHoyo) has a request for Marlena. And we’re sure by “request”, that mean “demand.” We’re also pretty sure that whatever is nothing good. Mostly, we do feel for a lot of the Salem baddies and feel a lot do try to be better. Orpheus, however, is not one of them. So, Marlena better use extreme caution.

    Speaking of, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) warns John Black (Drake Hogestyn) they need to take action against Orpheus. We can see why he feels that way. Orpheus did make a veiled threat against Steve’s kids when Steve demanded he leave town. However, Steve also has to proceed with caution.

    There’s no sense in antagonizing a dangerous criminal. Plus, he did get a full pardon, so any actions taken against Orpheus could lead to trouble for John and Steve. So, we think a subtle undercover mission to get to the bottom of that pardon, or to catch him in criminal activity would be best.

    Finally, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal Shawn will be sweating it out August 1st. He and Evan Frears (Brock Kelly) wait for the paternity test results. We’re so torn on the outcome here. We think Shawn was extremely naïve through this whole Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) thing.

    He more than set himself up for this inevitable disappointment. However, we can’t help but feel a little sorry for the guy. He got invested in this child, and now he’ll have to hand him over to a criminal.
