‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal DiMera is once again under new leadership. This time, the newest DiMera is at the head of the company. However, that doesn’t look like it sat well with Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis). In fact, he seemed a bit snobby about it. Let’s take a look at what might happen and what we think of Jake Lambert’s (Brandon Barash) new job.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: New blood
First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal a huge mystery hit Salem when the mysterious Jake arrived in town and blew everyone’s minds with his resemblance to Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash). It turned out, he’s a long-lost twin.
With that, we’ve seen a great story of him dealing with his new reality, as well as trying to integrate himself into a family that’s mostly either hostile or indifferent to him.
Through all this, Jake has kept a great humor about the situation and himself. Plus, we love seeing him occasionally put people in his place. But our favorite part of the story is how snobby some of these characters are about him and his job.
He seems to mostly take it in stride and stands up for himself. However, you can almost sense this desire to be seen as worthy at play as well. This past week saw a new development.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: In charge
Thanks to Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) being an easily led sheep, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) managed to make him cheat on Abigail Deveraux (Marci Miller). Plus, she was able to make a big spectacle of the whole thing on one of the papers in town.
This led to Chad having to step down as CEO and Jake was put in charge in his place. Sure, he doesn’t have a lot of experience in anything but cars, but he did do a great job in closing a deal. Plus, we think his attitude and energy is sorely needed. So, we’re on board with this. However, not everyone is.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Is this war?
See, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate Tony didn’t like the idea of Jake being in charge. In fact, he basically said he’s a grease monkey who can’t possibly lead the family legacy. Granted, Tony has other things to deal with right now.
Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) discovered Gwen is still after Abigail’s family. However, we think it won’t take long for him to focus on DiMera. Specifically, on getting someone else in charge. He looked ready to step in last week, and we do think he’ll bring it up soon.
This should make Jake more determined than ever to keep the position and kick you-know-what at it. We think he’s got a good chance. Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) is on his side, and she’s been willing to help. We think they’ll be an unstoppable team that could change this company. We just think it’ll be a bit of a rough road to victory.
