Just when we thought the drama on the Bachelorette couldn’t get any crazier, one rose ceremony really got to one of the contestants. Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey had to determine who would be the men who would move on and then go to their hometowns with them. This part of the show is always tense, but we have never seen anything like this before.

    The Bachelorette: This Season’s Drama

This season of the Bachelorette hasn’t been like any other for many reasons. One reason is that there are two women who are trying to find love and they have decided to put the men on two different teams in order to figure out who will end up finding love. The teams have been enduring quite a bit and Gabby had to send one of her suitors home and then Rachel’s team got a surprise like no other!

Gabby did end up going on a one-on-one date with Nate and she has some concerns about him. She knows that he is a father and she isn’t sure how to feel about it. The concerns that she has have been growing and she has turned to her past as a child with a single mom to try to think about Nate’s young daughter. She actually mentioned that she was “terrified” to get to know his daughter more.

Gabby loves spending time with Nate, but told the cameras, “I go back and forth on if I want to be a mother and that’s something I don’t quite have figured out yet. It just seems so complicated.” She feels that she has a lot more growing up to do and she ended up saying goodbye to Nate. She told him, “I never want to say goodbye but I think we’re just in two different places in our lives. It’s not you, it’s me.” Nate accepted her decision.

Rachel’s one-on-one date was with Zach and viewers have seen him as the frontrunner since day one. She has been on another date with him before and they seem to have great chemistry. He told the cameras that Rachel “gives me butterflies.”

He was very eager to win her over so that he could move on to the hometown dates. He opened up to Rachel more telling her, “A couple of years ago, I was about 85 pounds more than I am now, severely overweight.” They both talked about how therapy had helped them through some tough times and Rachel was happy that he wanted to open up to her about this.

Zach then told Rachel that he was falling in love with her. She gave him a kiss and the date rose and they looked so happy together.

As the rose ceremony approached, all of the men were pretty nervous because going to their hometown is a pretty big step. Gabby had three roses and Rachel had two. Gabby ended up choosing Erich, Jason, and Johnny. Rachel gave a rose to Aven and Tino and Zach and Tyler had already been saved.
