Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has been hyping up his new ‘Black Adam’ film forever it feels like, and with the release of the trailer and everything that’s been happening within the DCEU, he says this film will change the future of the film universe.
Many critics are already saying the DCEU is a failure and with ‘The Flash’ film being dumped as well as ‘Batgirl’ being chalked up as a loss and not even being released, it’s in need of a drastic change.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Says ‘Black Adam’ Will Change The DCEU’s Future
In a statement, Johnson said, “The pendulum swing will usher in a new era of the DC Universe. A new antihero era; a new era of tone, and a new era of story. And also, it’s this incredible opportunity that we have at Seven Bucks Productions for Black Adam’s storytelling to build out the DC Universe with disruption and with respect. Listening to the fans, because they’ll always guide you.”
Fans reacted to his statement saying, “You need to use your star power and bring back Henry Cavill and give us a Superman vs Black Adam movie”, “Can’t wait fire trailer”, “Hell yeah bro amazing 👏🔥”, and “So not The Flash but Black Adam to reboot DCEU.”
The DCEU is in desperate need of a new direction, and the leadership at Warner Bros. doesn’t seem to understand how to handle that. With Johnson at the helm of this film and the star power he has, he could easily turn it around. As one fan said, he could bring Cavill back as Superman and with Ben Affleck returning as Batman, the stars may just be aligning!
