President Joe Biden enacted an executive order on his first day in office to shut down the Keystone Pipeline. Since then, he’s shut down numerous oil drilling fields including one on May 12th in Alaska, and is now going back on his own words, claiming it’s not true and that it’s a republican lie.
Rita Panahi of Sky News Australia illustrated just how ridiculous Biden’s comments are, and how he’s seemingly blaming everyone but himself, including mom and pop business owners, claiming they are price gouging when in reality, oil is more expensive, so they have to charge more. It’s not their fault.
“Except the President did shut down fields and continues to do so. As Michael Shellenberger pointed out, Biden killed a refinery on May 14 and killed a one million acre oil & gas lease in Alaska on May 12.”

If you just did NOTHING, we would be doing just fine!”
While it’s not single-handedly entirely his fault for the rising gas prices, he surely has a lot of control over them, and he has done nothing to help either.
