CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are set to dive into a new week and there’s actually a shift in power in Genoa City.
Of course, it could only be temporary as we get some other seismic shifts happening to keep things moving, and rehashing some old habits works wonders.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Victor gets a victory
Well it looks like the bizillionth time is the charm for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) as he’s finally managed to force Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) out of Genoa City.
Victor did it like he always does. He undermined his children, ignored their wishes to handle something, and sought to micromanage everything.
I may have worked to a point, but we have a feeling this will backfire with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) when she finds out and we it won’t surprise us if she leaves with him or at least seeks him out.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Adam reverts to old habits
After all the headway he’s made, it looks like Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will revert back to his old habits and plot his revenge.
‘Young and the Restless’ thinks the safe assumption is he’s going to target Victor in some way since he continually pushes Adam to the side in favor of any other Newman.
There’s plenty of targets for Adam to choose from, and Victor seems unlikely since Adam’s trying to wiggle into the CEO spot and needs Victor’s blessing to do so.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Jack and Phyllis are over
Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will show she’s still got what it takes when she continues driving the wedge between Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
She’s going to do everything she can to sent Phyllis off while also playing the concerned friend to everyone she’ll talk to, especially the younger generation as they’ll probably ignore any warnings given to them.
But her best work will be subtle, and before too long we think Jack’s pain over Phyllis using him will become too much for him to want to be with her, and that’ll only frustrate Phyllis even more.
By the end, they’ll be arguing over how much they love one another if they’re not careful.
