“The Bold and Beautiful’ star Katherine Lang (Brooke Logan) had a Mother’s Day to forget, as she was hospitalised following a horse-riding accident.
‘The Bold and Beautiful’: Katherine Kelly Lang Has A Disastrous Mother’s Day As She Breaks Her Ankle Following A Horse-Riding Accident
According to reports, Katherine was participating in a 40-mile ride on Saturday, 7th May 2022. During the course of that process, the actress got off the horse after which things turned very nasty.
She allegedly tripped on a rock, which then led to her ankle being twisted. Thereafter, Katherine’s friends and a passerby intervened in order to call an ambulance, who then arrived to take over.
In the picture here, we can see that Katherine is on a stretcher as the medical personnel surround her. She does not look in very good condition, as there is concern over how serious things were.
So as soon as she arrived in the hospital, she wanted to give her fans an update on how she was feeling. In a post to her fans on Instagram, Katharine shared a series of pictures of herself from the hospital.
We can see that she is lying on the bed, as well as having her ankle strapped. The post was captioned by the following comments: “The ambulance took me to the hospital and the xrays showed 3 broken bones in my ankle.
“Had surgery late that night and now have rods, pins, and screws in my ankle. No weight bearing on my foot for 6 weeks.” Naturally, there is the obvious question of how much this is going to impact her.
But given the words that are coming out from the actress, it seems that she has no plans of slowing down anytime soon. In fact, she went on to confirm that she would be continuing her work-related duties as normal.
Her following comments confirmed as much: “I will still go to work later this week and try to heal quick so I can do all the things I love to do.” Hopefully, Katherine can make a full recovery as soon as possible. So there you have it folks.
