Teresa’s engagement to Luis Ruelas has been called into question with significant concerns over his past. This included claims from his ex Vanessa Reiser that Luis would become outraged, if he did not get the requisite sex that he demanded from her.
So the prospect of having everyone together to put behind any negativity about Luis should have been welcomed. And yet, Dolores was excluded. That has been something difficult for her to get over.
In an interview with Page Six, she said: “I would be lying to say it didn’t [hurt] on some level. Not being invited to somewhere shouldn’t hurt me, OK? So I’m going to remind myself of that when these things happen. I am human, but I shake it off and I’m, like, OK.”
This begs the question: why was Dolores overlooked for the event? Well, it appears that this may have been on the grounds that Dolores did not attend a double date with Teresa and Luis while she was with her ex David Principe.
Therefore, the assumption was that if Dolores could not give her time towards Teresa back then, then why should she reciprocate it. And yet, Teresa had her own say on the matter. She claimed that Dolores was excluded by virtue of the fact that she had a feud with Dina Manzo.
Thus, as a way to avoid controversy, it was best to keep them separate. In her comments at the time, Teresa remarked: “I know her and Dina do not speak. But Dina’s in California, Dolores is here.
“So I can have relationships with both of them. Dina never tells me anything about Dolores and vice versa. Dolores doesn’t say anything about Dina.”
In Teresa’s defence, it look as though Dolores will be present if a wedding goes ahead. Time will tell if she sticks to her word, though. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
