’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers finds that Kobe and Emily may end up being the couple that we end up rooting for, even though S9 has been a complete bust so far. They do seem to genuinely care about each other, and Kobe had the sweetest reaction to meeting his son for the first time, yes he cried hysterically but that was how much he wanted to meet his baby boy, Koban.
After a night of passion at a hotel after not seeing each other for two years, Emily and Koby went to her parents house to meet little Koban… and nothing could have prepared us for the sheer emotion behind Kobe’s reaction. He didn’t even have to see Koban for the tears to start flowing, he started crying in the car in front of the house, and continued when he got in the living room standing in front of his baby boy.

Little Koban didn’t seem too phased by it, he didn’t seem to be paying attention to it that much, which is a little surprising considering how kids are really attentive at that age and sometimes when adults get upset it scares them, but little Koban was perfectly chill in front of his Dad.
However, there was one thing that Emily didn’t allow Koby to do, even though he wanted to really badly – and that was hold Koban. Once her parents handed him to her, she did not let him go, not once. Okay, we get that some of that was because he wanted to nurse and if you take a child away from its Mom while nursing you run the risk of them screaming and perhaps she didn’t want to risk that.
But maybe she could have let Kobe hold him before she settled in to let baby Koban nurse, then again, little Koban may not have wanted to let go of Mama, he’s still very young and no child that age will want to let go of Mama for very long. it’s always good to reinforce your child’s own boundaries, and if the don’t want to cuddle with someone they don’t have to.
He doesn’t know Kobe yet, he hasn’t made the connection that Kobe in real life is the same guy as Daddy on-screen from all the facetiming that they were doing. Now that Kobe is here in the US he will get a chance to bond with his son, now if only Emily will let him hold him for five minutes and let that happen! Stay tuned!
