Just a few months ago, former 90 Day Fiancé cast member, Evelyn Cormier made the announcement that she and David Vazquez Zermeno were getting a divorce. Now it looks as if it has been finalized. The judge recently signed off on the paperwork needed to finalize the divorce and they are now free of one another. Now it looks as if Evelyn has really started to change her life and boost her singing career.

Evelyn has been a singer since she was a teenager and at 18 she made the decision to go on American Idol to show off her singing skills. Once she met David, however, she seemed to put her life and singing on hold. This wasn’t exactly what she wanted and now that they are divorced, it looks like things are looking up for her.

On her May 12 Instagram post, she shared a video of herself playing the guitar and singing and her fans loved it! She currently has 115,000 followers on Instagram and they praised her for the post. Evelyn has started to release her own music and promote her craft even more. It looks as if getting divorced has really helped her to boost her singing career.
Evelyn has been sharing covers of songs every two week for her followers and she has released her own songs as well. Back on April 13, Evelyn released a song called “Did You Feel That?” on Spotify. It was released on the joint account for Moxyblossom. Although, Evelyn did not win American Idol, she did develop quite the fan base.
Evelyn and David were featured on the fifth season of 90 Day Fiancé in 2017. David was nine years older than her when they met and fans thought that he just wanted a green card. Evelyn put her career on hold to get married and they eventually moved from New Hampshire to Los Angeles. Their journey had a lot of ups and downs and they were committed to one another, but it clearly didn’t work out that way. Evelyn has hinted at emotional abuse and that could be one of the factors why they divorced.
David hasn’t commented often about the split and he seems to keep to himself and doesn’t post as frequently on social media. We are happy to see that Evelyn has been working on her music again and we can’t wait until she shares more with her fans.
