Katie Rost has spoken of her desire to make a return on ‘The Real Housewives of Potomac.’
‘The Real Housewives of Potomac’: Katie Rost Begs Andy Cohen To Bring Her Back On The Show-‘I Just Want To Work’
Katie, for her part, was introduced to the fan base on the first season which aired in 2016. However, for the following two seasons, her on-screen time was dramatically reduced. And by the time the third season came around, the star was no longer a part of the show.
That clearly did not go down very well with her, and Katie responded by blasting the show’s producer Andy Cohen. One of the reasons why Katie was outraged was because the show had allowed fellow housewife Ashley Darby’s husband Michael Darby.
The latter would go on to be charged with sexual misconduct, even if the charges were later dropped. In and amongst this period, Katie branded Michael as ‘Chester the Molester.’
In a statement at the time, she remarked: “Obviously I have a place there. That’s not right! You are going to have Michael Darby, aka Chester the Molester there and not me!!!! WTF Bravo! Not cool.”
But in an attempt to make a comeback on the show, Katie apologised to Andy in the hope that he would open the door for her to make a comeback. In a post to her fans on Instagram, Katie shared a picture of herself as she posed to the camera.Â
The post was captioned by the following comments: “I would like to issue a public apology for statements I made that weren’t cool in the past to Andy Cohen. And I do want a job. And I swear I will totally behave. I’m also sorry for my temper tantrums. I feel no thirst. I just want to work.”
The response on social media towards Katie’s return was mixed. A certain subset of people wanted her to return on the basis that she provided great entertainment, while others were of the view that she was no longer relevant. One person wrote: “Girl had issues.”
Time will tell whether Katie does make a return. So there you have it folks. What did you think about all of this?
