Ashley Darby does not seem to be fazed by her break up with Michael Darby after speaking about money just prior to the announcement.

The duo, for their part, had gone their separate ways after having been married to each other for eight years. And with a 29-year-gap between the two, this was not a surprise to many people. And yet, the mere fact that Ashley spoke about finances left a distasteful feeling over what her true intentions were.
In a post to her fans on social media, Ashley shared a video of herself dancing to the following song ‘Sad Girlz Luv Money.’ The lyrics included the following words: “I’m gonna get paid, yeah, just gimme. I really like to party, I really like your body.
“I really wanna get naughty, I think you’re such a hottie / Slow dancing in the party, oh yes.” These comments could suggest the following things. First of all, should Ashley go ahead with a divorce, then there is a chance that she could be getting a lot of money by way of a settlement.
Michael is reportedly worth $20 million, which would give her a sizeable share. Although they did sign a prenuptial agreement from the outset, this only lasted five years. As such, she no longer has any other restrictions. In another statement, Ashley remarked: “Now, in the event of a divorce, I will receive 50 percent of our assets.”
The reaction from the fans on social media was hostile. People were of the view that Ashley was simply using Michael in order to get money out of him. And now that this time has come, she will be taking him to the cleaners.
One person wrote: “Ashley Darby is finally making that move that we know she’s carefully planned out, for years.” Only Ashley knows if her relationship was based on a genuine connection, but given everything that we have seen so far, it is possible to question her motives. So there you have it folks.
