From 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, Ben Rathbun was pretty shocked when his girlfriend, Mahogany Roca showed up when he got to Peru. She blew him off time and time again and many viewers and Ben’s friends thought she was a catfish. Upon meeting, she looked different than her photos, but still seemed the same.
She changed her mind on a lot of the things they had talked about it, and this led Ben to call her out on all of her lies. Being a man of God, Ben seems to have a holier than thou attitude, but there is more coming out about his past too. He may not be the saint that everyone thinks he is.
90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days – What’s Going On Now?
Ben recently got arrested and his job as executive director at the Michigan Lupus Foundation ended up firing him. He claims it is because he got arrested and was framed by a homeless couple that he was helping. Apparently they drugged him and he couldn’t drive so he had to find a motel for the night. When he tried to drive the next day, he was arrested and charged with driving without a license and under the influence. Of course, by looking at these charges, why wouldn’t his company fire him?
90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days – Ben Rathbun’s Past Comes Out
There is a lot more information coming out about Ben’s arrest and firing now. The YouTube and Instagram account of the Kelsey Diaries shared some interesting information about Ben.
They said, “Per our research, the Michigan Lupus Foundation was allegedly covering up something else that involved Ben Rathbun. The family came forward with information however, Ben was protected over the individual that was part of the organization, left the organization last year and a family member recently commented on Ben’s suspension last week, saying he got what he deserved.”
This means that there was an incident involving Ben and a woman, who was pretty young, and worked for the foundation as well. The alleged family member wrote, “I am so mad right now. She put her heart and soul into the Michigan Lupus Foundation and when she came forward with proof about an ongoing situation, the board chose to defend the wrong person. Now it is all coming back to hurt them and they have a lot of explaining to do. They protected the wrong person and now the world is seeing a glimpse into what someone is hiding.”
Apparently this woman was very young and very Christian. Did he think God brought them together too? It looks like there was something very inappropriate with this woman and Ben. She was right out of college, so probably about the same age as Mahogany.
As much as these are just allegations, we hope that Ben will do another interview and let his followers know what happened. In the meantime, we will have to tune into 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days on TLC.
