‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ star Teresa Giudice appears to be jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire.
No stranger to financial drama, the Housewives All-Star spent almost a year in prison after she and then husband, Joe Giudice were found guilty on federal mail, wire, and bankruptcy fraud charges, after first inflating their incomes to secure loans then attempting to diminish their earnings (after becoming household names) along with hiding their assets in a bankruptcy filing.
Though Joe and Teresa went their separate ways after their respective prison sentences, it is looking like Teresa is not much better off with new fiancé, Luis Ruelas who is facing his own financial troubles, declaring bankruptcy amid numerous lawsuits.
‘Real Housewives Of New Jersey’ Spoilers: Teresa Giudice’s Fiancé Files for Bankruptcy Amid Multiple Lawsuits
On March 23 it was initially reported that the newest Real Housewives of New Jersey co-star was being sued for $113k by a vendor who provided Ruelas with produce that was never paid for. Since then, several more lawsuits have come to light and it looks as though the businessman is on the hook for $646,301.65, stemming from five separate cases filed against him!
Meanwhile, the reality couple are flaunting all sorts of wealth, living together in a mansion after Ruelas proposed to the mother of four complete with lavish fire works display while they vacationed in Greece.
While housewives and their partners being embroiled in financial troubles is pretty much par for the course these days (here’s looking at you Erika Girardi and Tom Girardi), a blind item that has been popping up all over the tabloids has the ‘new fiancé of an east coast-based reality star’ in trouble with some rather unsavory characters whose ties originate with a unit that rhymes with ‘la cob’.
Of course, the blind item is all hearsay, yet it seems that Teresa will have to remain on the defense when it comes to her man’s background. She has already diminished his involvement in a resurfaced video where he was allegedly with a pack of naked men dragging another man through water as he begged for forgiveness (!)
Other cheating and abuse tales have also been told about Luis, but yet again, Teresa is standing by her man.
She just might want to be wary of where they are both standing.
