‘Welcome to Plathville’ Spoilers finds that Ethan Plath told us that his family simply didn’t celebrate holidays. Birthdays, Christmas, Easter, they didn’t celebrate even the most religious of holidays, no one got presents, they simply weren’t that kind of family at all.
However, what Ethan neglected to mention was that it seems the Plaths do take an annual Christmas vacation to the beach – or at least they did this year. Lydia Plath documented this trip on her instagram, she, Isaac, and the little Plaths seemed to be having the time of their lives down at the beach. This is surprising, considering the Plaths do not seem like a beach sort of family.

They also really didn’t seem like the volleyball type of family either, but there they were in Lydia’s instagram story playing what seemed to be a rollicking game of beach volleyball. The Plaths are definitely full of surprises, that’s for sure.
Apparently one commenter on her IG saw them out at the beach resort in real time and commented, “That was you guys! Hope you guys enjoyed your time in Melbourne!” (we’re assuming Florida, not Australia.) Yet another commenter said, “You’re doing a wonderful job raising your kids! Lovely family!” we’re assuming that that commenter knows Kim personally.
Meanwhile, Moriah Plath, and Ethan, Olivia, and Micah Plath posted Christmas pictures of their own but as it turns out they were spending Christmas with other branches of the family and weren’t even near the Plath compound.
We would expect this from Ethan and Olivia considering they are no contact, but you would think that Micah and Moriah would at least be in some of the pictures – but no, they’re celebrating with entirely different branches of their families… though it wasn’t really elaborated on who was who.
Some commentors said it was Ethan’s side of the family, specifically Barry’s side, and yet others seemed to think that it was Olivia’s family that they were spending Christmas with. Their captions offered no hints whatsoever as to who was who.
While it would definitely be interesting to see just how on earth all the Plaths would celebrate Christmas all together, it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen anytime soon. We’ll settle for holiday instagram posts. Stay tuned!!!
