‘Jeopardy!’ champ, Amy Schneider broke all sorts of barriers and records during her 40 day reign on the beloved quiz show and the engineer manager walked away with close to $1.4 million for her troubles.

To date, Amyis yet to see a dime of those earnings, but she has big plans for when she receives her check.

Top of the list for Amy? “Definitely do some traveling,” she revealed. Speaking on behalf of herself and her girlfriend, Genevieve Davis, Amy continued, “We’re going to go to Ireland and go on a little bit of a shopping spree, get some designer clothes and things like that.”

However, Amy promises she is going to be responsible and claimed, “For the most part, we’re holding out for it to become a mortgage.”

Amy had previously revealed that, as she waited for her episodes to air, she has continued to work 9-5 at her job. She even explained that, due to needing to take such a long leave of absence (she began filming in September and continued doing so until November of last year), she had to accept a demotion at work.

She needn’t fear, though. Since her time  becoming a household name, the 42 year old has signed a rather lucrative deal with popular talent and sports agency, CAA.

Of course, it’s also expected that Amy will add to her Jeopardy! winnings when she competes in the most hotly anticipated Tournament of Champions to date, coming to ABC this fall.

In all of its history, Jeopardy! has only seen 12 players win 10 or more consecutive games in a row (up until 1993, this was impossible as champs had to leave after 5 straight wins). One quarter of that number of double digit winners came from this current season alone.

No matter how the tournament goes, Amy is proud (and rightly so) of her achievement.

“It’s really been an honor. To know that I’m one of the most successful people at a game I’ve loved since I was a kid and to know that I’m a part of its history now, I just don’t know how to process it,” she said.

Watch this space for more details about the upcoming Tournament of Champions and watch Jeopardy!, weekdays on ABC!
