Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather‘s bodyguard is under investigation for battery after a man claimed he was assaulted by the guard. However, there appear to be inconsistencies in the accuser’s story! Mayweather was at Yard House in Los Angeles around 6 PM Thursday, where the main claims he was assaulted by a guy on Mayweather’s security team after Floyd supposedly got angry about being filmed.
The alleged victim claims he was hit, however, witnesses have told police that all the bodyguard did was knock the phone out of the guy’s hand! They also said the man took a flop after the incident, falling over in dramatic fashion and acting like he had just been hit by a truck.

The man then claims the bodyguard picked up the phone and attempted to have the man unlock and erase the video. As for Mayweather, he says there was no such accident and the alleged victim decided to wait about 30 minutes to call the police. Cops responded and took a full report of the man’s story. No one has been arrested yet, but they are still investigating the alleged incident.
This sounds like a classic case of someone trying to use a small event to make a payday. Opportunists we call them, and they will take the smallest thing they can find and try to extrapolate it until it can’t get any bigger, all in an attempt to either get some money or eyes on them. We’ve seen it a lot with celebrities who just want some hype around them when they haven’t had any in a while.
Mayweather on the other hand hasn’t had any allegations against him.
