Aquaman himself, Jason Momoa and Cosby Show alum Lisa Bonet have called it quits after 16 years of being together.
The pair, who met in in 2004 at a jazz club tied the not in 2017 after more than a decade of dating. However, Dune star, Jason posted a joint statement on his Instagram on Wednesday announcing their split.

In 2018 Lisa, now 54, spoke of meeting Jason, now 42, and recalled how the two had instant chemistry and that “we have been together from the day that we met.” She continued to wax lyrical, saying, “In that moment, love came and it came big, and he did not run as I think a lot of men do. He basically picked me up and threw me over his shoulder, caveman style.”
For his part, Jason confessed to James Corden in 2017 that he’d had a crush on Lisa since he was 8 years old after seeing her on The Cosby Show where she portrayed oldest Huxtable child, Denise.
He also agreed with Lisa’s assessment of their electrifying first meeting, saying, “ I had f–king fireworks going off inside, man.”
Jason and Lisa have two kids together, Lola Iolani Momoa and Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa. Lisa is also the mother to actress Zoe Kravitz . Lisa was marred to Zoe’s father, Lenny Kravitz from 1987–1993.
While we’re sorry to hear of the end of the marriage, we also imagine Jason’s DMs might already be rather full.
