‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers find that whispers have been circulating about a Bridget Forrester return to the show. Surely the resurfacing of her ex-husband, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) would be perfect timing for the level-headed doc to make a reappearance.
When speaking with B&B supervising producer, Casey Kasprzyk on his YouTube series, Bold Live, a fan called in with the question on many viewers’ lips – will Ashley return to the show?
“I am probably not the right person to ask.” she smiled, playing coy. She then referenced Kasprzyk when adding, “Working as a producer, you kind of have to put the puzzle pieces together and figure out the storyline you’re going to have. And when there’s a perfect storyline for Bridget, I promise you, [they] will probably bring her back.”
‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Ashley Jones (Bridget Forrester) Plays Coy About Rumored Return
Wouldn’t those puzzle pieces be fitting together perfectly right now?
As longtime viewers know Deacon cheated on Bridget when they were married, but worst still, it was with her mother, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) who promptly got pregnant with Hope Logan (now played by Annika Noelle).
Things are getting nice and messing in the Forrester manse where Brooke has fallen off the wagon and Deacon has managed to worm his way onto (but not into) Brooke’s bed.
Ashley had some ideas on what Bridget, always the voice of reason, would think of Deacon’s return, and is seems she’s siding with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Ridge Forester (Thorsten Kaye)
Ashley thinks Bridget be the right person to “get a read on where Deacon’s heart really is and where his mind is after all these years.” She also thinks the former jail-bird is wearing “rose-colored glasses” and is “a little bit focused on Brooke.”
Ashley also believes Bridget would want her half-sister, Hope to have realistic expectations about her father. “Is he going to disappear again? Is his addiction going to come back? Is he going to let her down again?”
You see how much Bridget needs to be back?
If not right away, Ashley assures that whenever she gets the call, she will be ready to accept. “I will say, formally, that I would love to come back because I love my family there. I think everybody knows that, because I post about it a lot. And I would love to explore some storylines with Bridget. So, we’ll see what happens!”
That all sounds pretty positive to us!
Watch for Bridget’s (imminent?) arrival on The Bold and the Beautiful, weekdays on CBS.
