’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers finds that Alina Kasha’s seemingly racist past has come home to roost and it doesn’t look good, honestly. She posted on her instagram recently, “I’m sure some of you have seen the screenshots of my past posts.
I sincerely want to apologize to those whose feelings have been hurt. I never intended to offend anyone. I am and will always be against any form of discrimination. My English is okay but I am Russian and there are a lot of nuances that you learn over time.
’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: Lisa Hamme comments on Alina Kasha’s apology for past racist posts
I didn’t know the impact of the word that I used in that post all those years ago. I saw a lot of people on social media using it so I thought it was like “bro” or “fella” but I was wrong. Again, my deepest apologies to those who were hurt by my words.”
Lisa Hamme, AKA Baby Girl Lisa, ex-wife of fellow Before the 90 days star Usman Umar (AKA: Sojaboy) commented on the post: “Harry made her write this. I said what I said.” and if you’re wondering who Baby Girl Lisa is talking about, apparently Harry is one of the producers of Sharpe Entertainment.
One could see where Lisa would be thinking that because there was some speculation going around that Alina was actually going to be edited out of Before the 90 days, but that has yet to be proven.
However, before a production company would take on such a huge project as editing out entire segments it might be advisable for them to get the star who said it to issue a statement such as this.
But also, in Alina’s defense… obviously the history of such a word is not taught in Russia, at all. So she wouldn’t have known, but, her fiancé Caleb Greenwood, who is American and would have known her at the time considering this happened in 2014 and they’ve known each other for 13 years, could have just said, “Uh, honey, that’s not a good look.” and gently educated on her on the history of that word.
I’m not saying he could have convinced her to take it down, nor is it his responsibility to police his fiancé’s social media, but I’m saying that he might have informed her that this term didn’t paint her in the best light.
If he actually cared anything about her, he’d want the best for her, that includes educating her on American nuances – especially when they’re potentially harmful or problematic. Will Alina survive being on Before the 90 days? Stay tuned!!!
