‘The Young and The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) has been deadset on having her own child after carrying Dominic to term for Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd). However, there are a few issues.
Not only has Mariah been completely infatuated with Dominic in a not-so-great way, but she’s also been pressuring Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) to have a baby of their own, even though Tessa has expressed that she’s not ready for the next step yet.

‘The Young and The Restless’ Spoilers: Would Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) Ever Consider Adopting? – I’m Going To Say NO Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks)
Now, it seems Tessa might be coming around to the idea, but not in a conventional way as Mariah was thinking. Mariah wanted Tessa to carry the baby, so she could experience what it was like and to be a mother. This wasn’t on Tessa’s radar, however.
Turns out, it looks like Tessa is interested in adopting, but it doesn’t look like Mariah is cool with that. The look on Mariah’s face said everything. She was disappointed and maybe a little hurt by the idea. Meanwhile, this would be a great way for them to experience motherhood. Still, though, Mariah is not buying it.
Will this situation be the demise of their relationship or could Mariah come around to the idea? Tessa is definitely trying to compromise, but if Mariah doesn’t want to adopt, it could very well cause the end of their relationship and we’ll be seeing a lot more of Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) around.
