The Jacksonville Jaguars are looking for a new head coach after firing Urban Meyer after just 13 games in his first season. Jacksonville thought Meyer would be the answer to turning their franchise around, however, he only made it worse.

The Jaguars are tied with the second-worst record in the NFL at 2-11 and their “franchise” quarterback, Trevor Lawrence, has struggled the entire season. Lawrence is currently tied for the NFL lead with 14 interceptions.

All of this just shows the issues on the field. A terrible defense, with a lackluster and struggling quarterback to lead the offense mixed with terrible coaching. However, there is plenty going on off the field as well. Remember just a few months ago when photos and videos circulated showing Meyer at a bar with his hands on a young woman?

There seem to be plenty of issues going on off the field as well. Making this an even worse situation. Many are looking for an answer, but it’s going to take a lot to bring the Jacksonville Jaguars around. So, who is out there to coach?

Some fans have speculated about Doug Pederson. He is certainly one of the most accomplished head coaches available. The Super Bowl-winning head coach went 42-37-1 in his five seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, winning two NFC East titles and taking the franchise to three consecutive playoff appearances.

Pederson has proved himself already and taking the Eagles to the Super Bowl was no easy task, especially after his franchise quarterback Carson Wentz went down and back up Nick Foles had to fill in.

What do you think? Could we see Doug Pederson take the helm of the Jacksonville Jaguars? Let us know in the comments below.
