‘Counting On’ Spoilers reveal that more information about the child endangerment situation involving Jana Duggar has come out, on social media, her sister Jess said this: “Getting messages about headlines about Jana. Bottome line – it was an innocent mistake.
She was babysitting and one of the kids slipped out the door unnotices, but it ended safely. Could’ve happend to anyone.
‘Counting On’: The situation with Jana Duggar as we know it
The media is sensationalizing this because of other current family circumstances and it makes me so mad. She’s without question one of the most amazing women I know and i”d trust her with my kids any day of the week. Do me a favor – give the girl a break, and all you perfect humans go back to living your lives.”
Well, okay then! Then a day later, Jana herself finally spoke up about the situation, saying this: “I’m only sharing this because the media has been having a field day with it all. I prefer a more private life, but I know my last name means that everything we do is open to public criticism and interest, especially during this time.
The raw facts: I was babysitting a few months ago when one of the children wandered outside alone. A passerby who saw the child call the police. This resulted in a written citation, as well as a follow-up with child welfare who concluded that it was an accident and the child was unharmed.
They recognized it was a case of a child slipping out of the house when you turn your back for a moment. It all happened so quickly and was scary. I am grateful for law enforcement and those who protect and serve the community.
I was certainly never arrested like some may have implied. In the end I was just upset at myself that it had happened at all but thankful that it ended safely and that’s what truly mattered the most to me.”
Okay so Jana Duggar was never actually arrested, rather cited, with child endangerment. However, sources say this is not what happened and that while the child did slip out unnoticed, that Jana lied to police initially and said that no children where missing, even said she did not know who the child was and then stepped inside to call her lawyer and finally agreed to go down to the police station – all the while the child was not being claimed.
If Jana hadn’t lied initially, she would have gotten off with a warning, not a citation. Jana plead guilty and was fined $880… that’s a lot of money for one measly little lie. What’s the real story? Stay tuned!!!
