In the world of the TLC family, The Duggars, everyone is keeping an eye on Josh Duggar‘s court case. He has been charged with possession of child pornography and he is still standing by the fact that he is innocent. This past Friday in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the legal teams went head to head in the courtroom and the computer forensics expert was there to explain what was found on Josh’s computer.

As the day was starting to wear on, the expert finished up with his testimony around 5 p.m. There were various points that were brought up and one of these was about the USB drive on Josh’s computer. The expert explained that this USB drive contained some Word documents and Powerpoint files that were important in this case.

The USB drive apparently went missing and it was a very important part of this case. The drive may have contained the downloaded child pornography, but Duggar’s lawyers noted that there was no pornography on the drive. They also noted that there was nothing found on his home computer or his phone.
However, the prosecutors brought up the minute-by-minute logs of his computer. The activity on his computer and phone showed that he had sent out messages about pornography, downloaded child pornography, and then saved these pictures and notes on child pornography.
There was also an encryption program put on the computer as a way to find the child pornography on his dealership computer. There were business files found, but there was also a secret side of the computer that was there. This program made it possible for anyone using the computer to report to Anna Duggar if anything inappropriate was found on the computer.
On this secret side, the forensics expert said that they did find sexually explicit photos and videos of children. The proof is there and through this software, the court knows that Josh was, in fact, looking at the child pornography.
This case has been a huge part of the world of reality television and the Duggars have been through a lot since this all went down. Their television show was canceled and many of the Duggars have been silent about what happened with Josh. Since there are no cameras or press allowed in the case of Duggar, we will just have to keep an eye on what happens next. There are many moving parts with it, but we will have to see what’s next.
