‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers look like it’s official! Chance Chancellor will return. Unfortunately, it will not be southern charmer Donny Boaz as many fans would like. Although, it will be nice for Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) to have someone to lean on.
Connor Floyd (Chance Chancellor) has posted several photos on his Instagram story, and one of them is even right next to Ordway as we have our new Chance Chancellor. Now, these are going to be shoes to fill, but we are hoping for the best!

This has been long-awaited and the character of Chance Chancellor is needed now more than ever. Abby is losing her marbles, taking pills, and is nowhere ready to be a mother, especially on her own. She needs him back in a big way.
The question is, will he be himself, or are we going to have another amnesia storyline where after the explosion, he’s not sure who he is and may not remember Abby at all… Let alone a baby they had while he was gone. I hope he just comes back as a normal version of himself, though, if we do get another amnesia story at least we’ll get to see Chance and Abby fall in love all over again.
