‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that they’re killing off the character of Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz), and they seem to have no respect for the character whatsoever. Not only have they left him in limbo for months, but now they can’t even get his name right…
On a preview clip uploaded to YouTube, they call the character ‘Chase’ in the title and in the description. They couldn’t even be bothered to correct it to the right name? Take a look at the clip below.

Fans responded to the ‘typo’ saying, “The fact that chances name is misspelled says it all the writers don’t care about him at all”, “They should’ve spelled it correctly.”, “They called him chase. Thought his name was(is) chance.”, “I love how they got his name wrong!!”, “Who the hell is chase? 😂”, “Chase must be Chance’s long lost twin brother?😂”, “This is is their official channel, isn’t it? How could they misspell his name?”, and “His Screen name is Chance Not CHASE…..Looks like the Writer’s forgot to hit 👉SPELL CHECK…”
Fans continued to sound off in the comments and for good reason. Chance was a beloved character and one that fans enjoyed seeing with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway). For them to not bother correcting him with the right name on their video says all you need to know. I still don’t think he’s dead, and he’ll come back with some sort of amnesia after the explosion, but as a different actor.
