There are quite a few people shaking in their boots tonight, or at least here ought to be, because according to Page Six, Madonna has been in touch with Britney Spears throughout her conservatorship ordeal and is now ready to wage an all out war against those who wronged the Princess of Pop.
What does this mean for all involved? Well, not only will they have to deal with the wrath of Britney but they will also have to deal with the wrath and potential legal power of Madonna as well. Madonna is a veteran in the industry and could teach Britney how to handle herself and her life pretty well post conservatorship.
Madonna prepared to wage war against Britney Spears conservatorship abusers
This is probably not what anyone on Britney’s former team wanted to hear. In fact, they were probably hoping that with the conservatorship done and over with that everyone could just go off into the woodwork and resume their normal lives and pretend that nothing ever happened.
However, they did not count on this “hybrid business model” ever ending and underestimated Britney’s star power in a fatal way. They also didn’t think for one second that Britney could possibly get someone like Madonna on her side, but it looks like they were wrong.
So what could Madonna teach Britney? For one thing, how to have a public meltdown (anyone remember Madonna on Letterman?) and not get trapped in a conservatorship. Madonna has done plenty of wild and crazy things over the years but not once has she ever been thought of as out of her mind in the clinical sense.
No, Madonna managed to skirt past all that, she came of age at a time when starlets were allowed to have a bad day in public and not be thought of as “crazy”, at least not for more than a night or two anyway. Madonna could also introduce her to some pretty insane contacts in the music and entertainment industry as well if Britney ever did want to go near music again.
Finally, Madonna could be the big sister/cool Aunt that Britney never had and could just impart some every day wisdom to her, from everything to business decisions to maybe even Motherhood – after all, Madonna is a Mom too. Either way, this looks like the beginning of a beautiful, and powerful, friendship. Stay tuned!!!
