Whoa, Your Madgesty, is that you? Actually, is that the real you? Madonna looked nothing like herself, well at least her Instagram self, when she stepped out for an impromptu concert on the streets of Harlem in New York City this past week. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
Madonna posted a photo of her outing on Instagram, but it looked nothing like the photos that were printed online. Wearing a fitted black ensemble and plenty of jewelry, Madonna looked completely wrinkle-free in the photo that she shared on her social media account.
Madonna ROASTED For Looking Much Different Than Her Instagram Photos
Of course, this prompted a lot of her fans and critics to comment on the matter. One person shared side-by-side photos of the singer and captioned it with, “Real life vs. Instagram,” while another wrote, “Madonna, Reality versus the pics she posts of herself on Instagram.”
But one of her fans defended Madonna by writing, “SHOCKING! I sincerely don’t get all this hate for madge. SHE IS AN ARTIST! duh. give me a break! Please don’t try to tell me IG is a platform for “honest” imagery. It’s all a facade.”
This all comes after the chart-topper flashed her bum in front of the audience of “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon.” If that weren’t enough, she also crawled across Fallon’s desk, much to his dismay. However, the pop icon and Fallon began their conversation on Thursday by talking about Madonna’s concert documentary, “Madame X.”
“Art is important in our lives. I don’t think people emphasize that enough. I’m really inspired by James Baldwin,” Madonna told Jimmy Fallon about the documentary.
Now, whether or not Madonna will continue to parade her “unfiltered” self through the streets of New York City again remains to be seen. Watch this space.
