Kyle Rittenhouse‘s mother has said that President Joe Biden ‘defamed’ her son as a white supremacist. Wendy Rittenhouse went on Fox News with Sean Hannity after her son testified in his defense. “He is not a white supremacist. He is not a racist,” she said during the interview.
This comes from a tweet from Biden in September 2020, when he was running against former President Donald Trump. He included an image of Rittenhouse carrying his AR-15 rifle with the caption, “There’s no other way to put it: the President of the United States refused to disavow white supremacists on the debate stage last night.”

Wendy Rittenhouse said she was in shock and angry as President Joe Biden didn’t know her son at all and continued to say that Biden only did that for the votes.
Kyle Rittenhouse is currently on trial for fatally shooting Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, and Anthony Huber, 26, while wounding Gaige Grosskreutz, 27, during the riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin in August of 2020. Grosskreutz testified earlier this week and admitted that he moved on Kyle with a handgun, and only then did Kyle fire. It was a huge blow for the prosecution.
While Rittenhouse was on the stand, he sobbed uncontrollably and appeared to be having panic attacks, though some have speculated it was all for show.
The defense rested its case on Thursday and closing arguments are scheduled for Monday morning.
As of right now, it looks like Rittenhouse will be a free man, and this opens up the possibility of his family suing the Biden administration for defamation. While it remains to be seen, it will be interesting to see.
