The trailer for the 2nd Season of the Netflix series Tiger King just dropped and it goes a little something like this. Last year, in 2020, a judge ruled that Carole Baskin, rival to Joe Exotic and the same woman that he took a hit out on, was to take over his zoo. Meanwhile, Joe Exotic sits in jail for his attempt at murdering Baskin.
In this new season, we get to catch up on all the players in the first season and just what they’ve been up to over the past year. This will include Joe Exotic, Doc Mantle, Carole Baskin, and a lot of the other players involved in the big business that is Big Cats.

In the trailer, we see Exotic in prison, talking from a phone complaining how he is paying the price and everyone from the series is making money, and for the most part that seems to be true because a former of Exotic’s zoo is quoted as saying on camera, “We have more money than God right now.” Exotic says that now would be the time for one of them to speak up, because he is innocent.

Meanwhile Carole Baskin seems to be thriving and driving around in a car, in spite of the continued allegations that she was responsible for her husband, Don Lewis’s death over two decades ago. It doesn’t seem to be affecting her brand at all.
However there is one man who says that Don Lewis was involved with some ‘shady characters down in Costa Rica’, which begs the question on if Carole Baskin actually knows more than she’s saying or not or if her husband was spirited away by some dubious characters in the middle of the night. Baskin was also heard to mention surveillance video, almost as if her place was bugged by someone.
It looks like this is one of those things we’ll have to see about when Tiger King Season 2 Premieres. In the Trailer they even make a brief mention of Joe Exotic’s appeal to the 45th President, Donald Trump, for his freedom… yeah how’s that working out for ya, Joe?
It would seem that plea came and went, so we wonder what sort of impact that made on Exotic’s political opinions, since he’s not really shy about talking about those sorts of things, it’ll be interesting to see which way he sways now. Of course there’s a bunch of footage of actual tigers but it seems the real story are the people behind the Tigers. Tiger King Season 2 premieres on Netflix on November 17th. Stay tuned!!!
