Tiger King’s flamboyant, larger-than-life lead is launching a cannabis company from prison where he awaits his new sentencing.

Coming this July is Joe’s Exotics, the former big-cat owning felon’s cannabis brand. The product launch across 37 states will include Delta-8 THC products like pre-rolled joints, gummies and a cannabinoid-infused seltzer named “Tiger Piss”. Mmm, sounds delicious.

In case you’re not up on your cannabinoids, Delta-8 is touted to be “the most exciting, and most psychoactive” compound in the hemp industry.

A cousin compound to Delta-9 THC, the main ingredient in Delta-8 is cannabis yet is legally being sold across the country, thanks to an exception in marijuana laws that legalized cannabinoids derived from hemp.

Because of the legal loophole, Exotic will be selling his Delta-8 products outside of regulated dispensaries.

Later this summer, Exotic also plans to launch actual marijuana products to be sold in dispensaries in California with hopes to expand to Nevada and Oklahoma before the end of the year.

The launch of Joe’s Exotics will aid the jailbird in his renewed fight to be released from prison. Though his sentence was recently vacated, he remains in prison, awaiting his new sentencing. This should be several years shorter than the original 22 he was sentenced to, as the murder for hire plots should have been considered as only one, not two counts.

The attorneys representing Exotic, however, are continually filing motions in an effort to get their Netflix famous client a new trial and out of jail. This, of course, takes money and this is where Joe’s Exotics comes in.

The Tiger King, however, is not the only famous name attached to the products. Jason Hervey, who played antagonizing older brother, Wayne Arnold in the beloved 80’s sitcom The Wonder Years, cut the  licensing agreement with Exotic who sold his likeness and moniker for a “healthy” advance and a stake in the business venture.
