Khloé Kardashian announced on Friday, October 29 that she and her three year old daughter True Thompson have contracted COVID-19. For a second time.
The 37-year-old reality star shared the news on social media, revealing that mom and daughter have tested positive, therefore she was having to cancel all commitments. In a case of bad timing, this means no Halloween celebrations or trick-or-treating for the two.

On her Instagram Stories and Twitter, Khloe apologized for having to bow out of her commitments. The mom of one is staying positive amid the diagnosis, saying that she felt confident she’d be okay thanks to being double vaccinated.
‘Luckily I have been vaccinated so all will be ok,’ she wrote in the Instastory. ‘We will be over here in quarantine and following current guidelines.’
True is, of course, too young to be vaccinated, but so far the illness has been less severe in young children. It won’t be easy to explain to the little girl why she can’t trick or treat this year, though.
This is the second time Khloe has tested positive for COVID-19. She fell very ill back in March of 2020 when the world was first learning about the virus. Though she didn’t lose her sense of smell or taste, she was seriously ill, as shown on the final season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. She detailed the chronic headaches, burning cough, chills, vomiting and significant hair loss.
Of course, Khloe isn’t the only family member to have been struck down by “the ‘Rona”
In May of this year, big sis Kim Kardashian-West revealed on the final season of their E! reality series that her entire household came down with the virus after five year old Saint picked it up from school. Eight year old North, three year old Chicago and two year old Psalm, along with both Kim and Kanye West all ended up testing positive.
