Aaron Rodgers is unfiltered and doesn’t regret it! On Tuesday, the 37-year-old Green Bay Packers quarterback made his appearance on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ and was asked about his “I still own you” taunt to Chicago Bears fans during his win on Sunday.
Rodgers spoke about “woke cancel culture” during his appearance saying,
“…There is this culture that exists, that gets off I think on shrinking people, keeping them small, keeping them in a box, quieting them through cancelization or demeaning comments,” Rodgers said. “I also exist outside of that in different realm where I do feel confident in things I say and I do stand by what I do. I like to speak the truth and I’m not part of this woke cancel culture that gets off on trying to silence people all the time.”

NFL Quarterback Aaron Rodgers Has A Problem With ‘Woke Cancel Culture’
After Rodgers scored on his touchdown run he yelled out, “All my f–king life, I own you. I still own you. I still own you!” It was revealed in the postgame conference that he was reacting to a fan flipping him off.
“It’s been a great rivalry over the years, but we have gotten the better of them for a while now. I don’t think I was saying something wasn’t necessarily close to the truth. If you don’t like it that’s fine, it’s your prerogative.”
Of course, Rodgers has sparked quite a fire with it, and some viewers are unhappy with what he did. As a person who played football and has seen it from his perspective, you have to understand the emotions and the high that happens when you score and when you look up to see another person flipping you off, it can set you off. Also, what he said wasn’t even that bad, and compared to a fan flipping him the bird, what’s worse?
Why was it okay for that fan to do that, but he can’t respond? As a Seattle Seahawks fan, I’ve dreaded seeing Green Bay and Aaron Rodgers over the years, but like he said, on Pat’s show you get to see a different side of him and give respect where respect is due.
