ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) made some huge mistakes over the past nine months. Obviously, the truth about Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has turned her into Port Charles Enemy #1. However, there was a nice moment with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), which was much-needed. Let’s take a look at what happened and why we loved it.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Unsure
First, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Nina has met with some less-than positive reactions after her return to Port Charles. Understandably so when you look at what she did. Even Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) couldn’t keep silent and was the one who broke the news. However, she has also offered Nina a mix of honesty about her feelings on what Nina did, as well as supporting her and keeping their relationship going.
She obviously also didn’t have any hate coming from Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner), but the big question for her was Curtis. She approached him and told the truth about her time in Nixon Falls, wondering if this will change their relationship. We loved when he offered his friendship and support instead of hating on her.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Refreshing
Why do we love this so much? Well, it’s refreshing, to be honest. A lot of characters on soaps have done terrible things over their run, but find themselves happy to judge other peoples’ actions. Curtis made it clear that wasn’t going to be him. It makes us like him even more, and it’s something we need more of. But there was something that happened later that was even better.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Straight talk
So, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate it was inevitable. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was going to find out, and it was likely to have an impact on their relationship with her and Wiley. When Michael found out she was at the Savoy, he went straight there, ready to tell her what he thinks. However, Curtis stepped in and somewhat defended her. We totally agreed with this and wish it will happen more than it will.
See, everyone who is on the hate Nina train in that town is forgetting one vital thing—Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) lied as well. She thought she had the right to decide what Nina knew or didn’t know about her daughter/her fate.
Immediately, Carly played the victim when called out, acting as though Nina was some villain that came to disrupt a funeral. No, Nina actually had no clue until she overheard Carly and reacted from that place of hurt.
Carly still doesn’t acknowledge how wrong she was there, and the way she got between Nina and Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher). So, it was nice to see someone who won’t jump right on the Corinthos family dogpile.
She’ll need that support and non-judgement as she goes forward. Why? Because it’s obvious she’s not all right in the head, and Nina has admitted this. So, these people will be a support system for her to get better and move forward.
