‘Welcome to Plathville’ Spoilers tell that it’s official, Olivia Plath has moved out of the house with Ethan Plath. We all kind of saw it coming, we saw them growing apart, we saw that Ethan and Olivia wanted different things from life.
Their initial conversation was private, because they didn’t want cameras in on that, and that’s understandable, but in the interview afterwards, it was made apparent that Ethan is more after a lifestyle, having a house and a good living and all the cars that he could want to fix – honestly it sounds like Ethan is living the life of a lot of old, retired men. Whereas Olivia definitely wants to embrace a younger, more modern mindset.
‘Welcome to Plathville’: Ethan and Olivia take some space
Olivia wants to make sure that things are good between them, and she wants to grow as a person, before she continues to pursue her relationship with Ethan. No one’s judging because both she and Ethan were pushed into a life that they clearly weren’t prepared for.
They were basically forced to marry in order to get to know each other, because of their family’s religious holdings, and that isn’t exactly healthy. You can remain steadfastly religious and still date and get to know each other, but apparently not within Plath culture.
Olivia says that she is moving out in the hopes of someday getting back together with Ethan but she says that ultimately their paths may not converge. Ethan looked like the world’s biggest kicked puppy when she told him that she was moving out.
Now, they’ve confirmed via social media that they are still married so we’re not exactly worried about their relationship, we’re just looking at a particularly rocky part of it right now. All married couples have fights, and that’s what this looks like, except this is obviously the extended version.
Olivia has moved in with a friend as of this airing. We know that we’re going to see next week how Ethan is handling being alone, and there’s probably only going to be only so many cars he can fix before he goes stir-crazy without his wife. Poor Olivia, we’re not sure if she’ll fare any better, but she definitely seems a lot more socially adjusted than Ethan is.
Will this be the thing that ultimately forces Ethan to reach out to his parents and forces them to talk things through? It might be. We’ll see how this goes. Stay tuned!!!
