He might be gone, but he will never be forgotten. Both Prince William and Prince Harry shared their best memories of their grandfather, Prince Philip, in a new BBC documentary. Members of the royal family have come together to pay tribute to the late Duke of Edinburgh in “Prince Philip: The Royal Family Remembers.”

In a teaser trailer, William says: “He’s always been a huge presence behind everything we’ve done really.” Harry, meanwhile, adds: “What you see is what you got with my grandfather. He was unapologetically him.”

Also, Princess Ann’s daughter added: “You never really prepare yourself for losing him because he was always there,” with Prince Charles adding: “We were lucky to have him for nearly 100 years.”

Both Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice will also be in the documentary along with Zara’s brother, Peter Phillips.

The BBC said: “Prince Philip: The Royal Family Remembers will feature poignant recollections plenty of humour and numerous fresh insights into the character and legacy of this royal pioneer. With special access to the Queen’s private cine-film collection, this film is an unrivalled portrait of a man with a unique place in royal history – by those who knew him best.”

According to reports, the hour-long documentary was supposed to air on Prince Philip’s 100th birthday, but sadly he passed one month before he were to mark the milestone day.

The doc will also feature commentary from Prince William and Prince Harry and other senior members of the royal family. “Prince Philip: The Royal Family Remembers” will air on BBC One on Wednesday, September 22nd.
